Making Adobe Audition 3.0 Play Nice with Axia's IP-Audio Driver

Trevor Stuart, engineer for Astral Radio's Virgin 104.9, Team 1260 and 100.3 The Bear in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, writes: "We recently upgraded from Adobe Audition 1.5 to Audition 3.0. Ever since we are randomly getting a 'clicking sound' when recording using the Axia IP-Audio Driver for Windows. Nothing else gets this, but nothing else on the systems is using ASIO. We are using Driver version 2.5.2.8. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated."

Milos Nemcik, Axia Support maven, replies: "Please update to the current IP-Audio Driver release version, v2.6.1.5. This new driver version resolves an issue where, if the source was changed, it could cause a buffer wrap-around which introduced audio clicks. The new version mentioned has this fix, as well as other updates."
